Pelota Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 14, 2026

This Privacy Notice for dolap (doing business as Pelota) ("we", "us", or "our") describes how and why we might access, collect, store, use, and/or share ("process") your personal information when you use our Services, including when you:

  • Visit our website at pelota.app or any website of ours that links to this Privacy Notice.
  • Download and use our mobile application (Pelota) or any other application of ours that links to this Privacy Notice.
  • Use Pelota. Pelota is an iOS and Apple Watch app for tracking racket sports (currently supporting padel and tennis). It lets users calibrate their court, score matches, and view stats such as heatmaps, distance, performance insights, and match history. The Apple Watch records motion and workout data during play and syncs it to the iPhone for analysis and storage. The app may access HealthKit data (heart rate, calories, workouts), motion sensors, and optional location (for nearby courts and tournaments). It may also access calendar data, photos/media, and Bluetooth. If enabled, Pelota uses Ultra-Wideband (Nearby Interaction) to improve position accuracy when the iPhone is placed on the court. The app may use analytics and crash reporting, and may send notifications. Users can choose to share match summaries or other content generated by the app. The service may use cloud services for account features, syncing, or backup depending on user settings and subscription level.
  • Engage with us in other related ways, including any marketing or events.

Questions or concerns? Reading this Privacy Notice will help you understand your privacy rights and choices. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our Services. If you have questions or concerns, contact us at [email protected].
